Yesterday, something truly significant happened in Bassambiri Community — something much bigger than two men simply shaking hands.

Chief Dr. Kojo Sam reconciled with his former close friend and follower, Ayerite Moses, a man he personally supported, mentored and helped build into the person he became.

Their relationship, however, eventually took a painful turn. What started as a bond of friendship, loyalty and trust deteriorated into a prolonged conflict with devastating consequences. Lives were lost, properties were destroyed, businesses were affected, and relationships were deeply damaged.

But yesterday, they made a powerful decision: to choose peace over pain, forgiveness over bitterness, and the future over the wounds of the past.

This was not merely a handshake for the cameras. It was a genuine moment of reconciliation — a moment that could mark the beginning of a new chapter for Bassambiri Community.
