OKOWA WISHES ATHLETICS FAMILY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Senior Vice President of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA), President of CAA Region 2 and President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Chief Tonobok Okowa, has extended warm Independence Day greetings to the entire athletics family in Nigeria and across Africa.

Chief Okowa congratulated athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, technical officials and all stakeholders in the sport, while calling for continued unity, dedication and commitment to the development of athletics.

He wished Nigerians and the entire athletics community a peaceful and memorable Independence Day Celebration, expressing optimism that the nation’s athletes will continue to make Nigeria proud on the international stage.
