NOC/OLYMPIC SOLIDARITY SEMINAR SET TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE IN NIGERIAN SPORTS

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity, is set to hold a two-day seminar aimed at promoting good governance among Presidents of Sports Federations in Nigeria.

The seminar, themed “NOC/Olympic Solidarity Seminar on Good Governance for Presidents of Sports Federations in Nigeria,” is scheduled for September 28–29, 2026, from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.

The programme will take place at Starview Palace Hotel, 4th Avenue by Setraco, Gwarinpa, Abuja.

The initiative is expected to provide an important platform for sports federation presidents to gain greater understanding of effective leadership, accountability, transparency and modern governance practices in sports administration.

The seminar is coming at a time when good governance and effective administration remain central to the development and sustainability of sports in Nigeria.
