BRUSSELS, Belgium: Nigeria’s sprint sensation Kanyinsola Ajayi will tonight line up in Lane 8 for the men’s 100m final at the Brussels Diamond League, with the Nigerian set for a major test against some of the world’s fastest sprinters.

The race is scheduled for 7:14 p.m. Nigerian time, and Ajayi enters the final with an impressive Season’s Best of 9.84 seconds, placing him among the leading contenders in a quality field.

Ajayi will have to contend with Australia’s Lachlan Kennedy (9.85s), American Christian Coleman (9.90s), South Africa’s Akani Simbine (9.93s), Nigeria’s Emmanuel Eseme (9.83s), Jamaica’s Oblique Seville (9.82s), South Africa’s Gift Leotlela (9.91s) and American Trayvon Bromell (9.91s).
