FRANK ILABOYA APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF OWAN WEST APC CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

Former Chairman of Owan West Local Government Area, Hon. Frank Ilaboya, has been appointed Chairman of the Owan West APC Campaign Council as the party strengthens its campaign structure in the local government.

Ilaboya, who previously served as chairman of Owan West, is a prominent APC figure with extensive grassroots experience. He also served as Chairman of the Edo State Football Association and has remained active in political and community affairs in the area.

His appointment comes as the Edo State APC puts in place campaign structures across the various local government areas and senatorial districts.

The campaign structure reflected in the document released by the Edo State APC includes coordinators and secretaries across several local government areas. Among those listed are Lois Osamuyi Osayande and Egheomwanre Osamudiamen for Ikpoba-Okha; Hon. Washington Osifo and Hope Iyare for Uhunmwode; Kabiru Adjonto and Ogunnubi Princewill Kingsley for Akoko-Edo; Chief Okozi and Bagudu Sulieman for Etsako Central; Hon. Luke Obaro and Hon. Edward Imhanobe for Etsako East.

Alhaji Akokhia and Dr. Shaka Mamudu for Etsako West; and Barr. Victor

Ohiosuma and Igbarago Daniel for Owan East.

The document was signed by Jarrett Tenebe, State Chairman, and Lawrence Okah (JP), State Secretary, underscoring the formal nature of the appointments.

Ilaboya's appointment adds another layer of political responsibility to his public career. Earlier this year, he picked the APC nomination and expression-of-interest forms to contest the Owan West State Constituency seat in the Edo State House of Assembly.

The former council chairman's political experience, particularly his previous leadership of Owan West, places him at the centre of the party's campaign coordination in the local government.

The appointment is expected to see the campaign council work with ward executives, party leaders and other stakeholders across Owan West as the APC mobilises for the elections ahead.
