Football Quagmire: Stakeholders Will Smile Again Under Shehu Dikko’s and Bukola Olopade's Leadership – Ohis Aseinfaksmedia.com
In the midst of the current football quagmire in Nigeria, particularly as the country approaches the much-anticipated Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Elective Congress in September, there is still reason for optimism.
I strongly believe in the capacity and leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC), under the Chairmanship of Mallam Shehu Dikko his Director General Hon. Bukola Olopade to provide the direction, intervention and leadership needed to restore confidence in Nigerian football.
The current situation may appear challenging, with concerns being raised by stakeholders over the state of the game, administration, development and the overall direction of football in the country. However, this is precisely the time for strong, responsible and decisive leadership.
Mallam Shehu Dikko and Olopade has demonstrated an understanding of sports administration and the need for stakeholders to work together. With the right approach, constructive engagement and genuine commitment to the development of the game, I believe Nigerian football stakeholders can once again have reasons to smile.
As the September NFF Elective Congress approaches, Nigerians are looking forward to a process that will strengthen the football family, restore confidence and put the interest of Nigerian football above individual ambitions.
The challenges are real, but the solutions are possible. With the right leadership and collective commitment, Nigerian football can rise again.
I remain confident that under the leadership of Mallam Shehu Dikko, Bukola Olopade and the National Sports Commission, the football stakeholders in Nigeria will smile again.
