The Founder and National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), His Excellency Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has reaffirmed the party’s determination to secure victory for all its candidates in the forthcoming elections, following a strategic engagement with State Chairmen of the party from the North West geopolitical zone.
Senator Dickson disclosed that the meeting, which brought together the national leadership of the party and key leaders from the North West, focused extensively on preparations for the forthcoming campaigns and the strategic mobilisation required to consolidate the NDC’s presence across one of the country’s most politically significant regions.
Describing the North West as a critical force in Nigeria’s political landscape, the former Bayelsa State Governor commended the zone’s leadership for its commitment, enthusiasm, and readiness to work collectively towards the success of the party.
He particularly recognised the leadership of the zone under the guidance of the NDC’s Vice Presidential candidate, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, expressing confidence in the ability of the party’s structures and leadership to translate the growing political momentum into electoral success.
According to Senator Dickson, the discussions were productive and provided an opportunity for the party to assess its level of preparedness, strengthen coordination, and further align its leadership and grassroots structures ahead of the electioneering season.
The NDC National Leader also used the occasion to issue a broader call for unity and collective responsibility, urging members, supporters, and stakeholders across the country to put aside individual interests and remain focused on the common objective of delivering victory for all candidates of the party.
He stressed that the success of the NDC would depend not only on its leadership but also on the commitment, discipline, and coordinated efforts of its members and supporters at every level.
With campaign activities gathering momentum, the engagement with the North West leadership signals the NDC’s increasing focus on regional mobilisation and strategic coordination as the party positions itself for a competitive electoral contest.
Senator Dickson expressed optimism that, with sustained unity, commitment, and effective mobilisation, the party can achieve its electoral objectives.
“NDC all the way!” he declared. ✌️
