Chikere Backs Super Falcons to Defeat Cameroon, Secure WAFCON Semi-Final Spot

The Executive Director, Sports Development and Operations of the Edo State Sports Commission, Mrs. Sabina Chikere, has expressed confidence that the Super Falcons of Nigeria will defeat the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon and progress to the semi-finals of the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Chikere, who is currently in Morocco to lend her support to the Nigerian team, said she strongly believes in the quality, experience and determination of the Super Falcons to overcome their Cameroonian opponents in the crucial quarter-final encounter.

Speaking to FAKS MEDIA on Sunday, Chikere rallied Nigerians to continue supporting the nine-time African champions, insisting that the team has what it takes to deliver victory and move one step closer to retaining the continental title.

According to her, the Super Falcons have shown great character throughout the competition and she is confident that they will rise to the occasion against the Indomitable Lionesses.

“Super Falcons all the way!” Chikere declared, expressing her unwavering support for the Nigerian women.

With a place in the WAFCON semi-finals and qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup at stake, all eyes will be on the Super Falcons as they battle Cameroon in what promises to be a highly competitive quarter-final clash.

Chikere’s presence in Morocco further underlines the growing support for the Super Falcons as they continue their quest for continental glory and a place at the next FIFA Women’s World Cup.
