A top supporter of Bendel Insurance based in Austria, Mr. Osahon Ogbeinde, has charged the Benin Arsenal to go all out for their first away point of the season when they face Sporting FC of Lagos on Sunday.

Ogbeinde, while speaking with FAKS MEDIA from Europe, praised Bendel Insurance for maintaining a 100 percent home record so far this season, but urged the team to show the same fighting spirit on the road by targeting at least a draw against Sporting FC.

According to him, securing an away point would be an important step for the Benin Arsenal as they continue their campaign.

«“It is time for Bendel Insurance to go for their first point away from home this season. The team has done very well at home, maintaining a 100 percent record, and now we want to see that fighting spirit away from Benin.»

“At least a draw against Sporting FC of Lagos on Sunday will be a good result. We believe in this team and we are praying for them to have a successful season.”

Ogbeinde also revealed that Bendel Insurance enjoys a strong following among Nigerians and supporters of the club across Europe.

He said his passion for the Benin Arsenal dates back to his childhood, stressing that supporting the club is a tradition shared by many of his friends living in different European countries.

“The Benin Arsenal has a big fan base in Europe. My friends and I have been following Bendel Insurance for many years. It is a club we were born to support when we were small.

“It is not just me. I have friends in Italy, Switzerland, Poland and other parts of Europe who also follow Bendel Insurance closely. We are always praying for the club and hoping to see them win the league this season,” he concluded.

Bendel Insurance will be hoping to maintain their strong start at home while seeking to break their away-point drought when they take on Sporting FC of Lagos on Sunday.
