Amokachi, Siasia, Kanu, Ikpeba, Onazi Lead Ex-Football Stars' Endorsement of Chikelue Iloenyosi for NFF Executive Committee Seat

Former Super Eagles stars Daniel Amokachi, Samson Siasia, Nwankwo Kanu, Victor Ikpeba and Ogenyi Onazi have thrown their weight behind former Nigeria international, General Chikelue Iloenyosi, in his bid to become a member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Executive Committee.

The football icons, alongside former Golden Eaglets coach and Chairman of Abia Warriors FC, Mr. John Obuh, expressed confidence in Iloenyosi's ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Nigerian football if elected at the NFF Elective Congress scheduled for September 27 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Former Arsenal legend and two-time African Footballer of the Year Nwankwo Kanu, as well as former African Footballer of the Year and former AS Monaco star Victor Ikpeba, joined other ex-internationals in backing Iloenyosi's candidacy, describing him as a man of integrity, experience and unwavering commitment to the game.

The football legends described Iloenyosi as a committed administrator and former international who understands the challenges facing Nigerian football, insisting that his wealth of experience as a player and football stakeholder makes him a worthy candidate for the NFF Executive Committee.

According to the former internationals, Nigerian football requires experienced personalities with credibility, vision and a passion for service, qualities they believe Iloenyosi possesses in abundance.

They urged delegates to support his ambition, noting that his election would bring fresh ideas, integrity and a genuine passion for the advancement of football across the country.

Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles defender popularly known as "The General," is contesting for a seat on the NFF Executive Committee at the September 27 Elective Congress, where a new leadership will be elected to steer Nigerian football over the next four years.
