AGARA CHARGES EDO QUEENS TO GO ALL FOR WAFU TROPHY

Former Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Women’s Committee, Ms. Thelma Agara, has charged Nigeria’s representatives, Edo Queens, to give everything they have and go all out for victory in today’s WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League final against Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana.

Speaking to faksmedia on Saturday, the former Secretary of Bayelsa United described the encounter as a revenge mission for the Nigerian champions, following their earlier defeat to the Ghanaian side.

Agara expressed confidence in the ability and determination of the Edo Queens to turn the tables this time around.

"It is a revenge mission for the girls. I know they have all it takes to beat the Ghanaian side and make Nigeria proud.”

She urged the players to remain focused, fight for every ball and put aside individual ambitions for the collective goal of lifting the trophy for Nigeria.

With the continental ticket and WAFU Zone B glory at stake, all eyes will be on Edo Queens as they look to finish their campaign on a winning note and bring the trophy home
